Cognos HR, founded in 2015, bills itself as a "human capital consulting organization" that offers PEO services. It is based in Chicago and Oakbrook Terrace, IL, and seems to focus its service providing to that area. It promotes its services to small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), startups, nonprofits, remote companies, and other "businesses in need" interested in cost-effective, all-inclusive HR solutions. Its services include guided onboarding, global employment software solutions, HR process streamlining, global health benefits, localized recommendations, compliance and protection, and an all-in-one platform covered by on-demand support. OysterHR offers three service options on their website, where clients can choose to pay $29 per contractor per month, or $599 per employee a month for their global EOR and employee management solution, $499 per employee a month if the client opts for the annual plan. There is also a discounted Scale plan for which prospective clients must request a quote.
