The acquisition was about building revenue, and Paychex aimed to grow its human resource outsourcing capability and extend its technology to a new client base as part of the acquisition. While Oasis initially operated as its own entity, it is now fully part of the Paychex brand as one of the available solutions in "Paychex HR."
