The Lincoln Lawyer is officially headed for its final season on Netflix, and it turns out the legal drama has plenty of company. The streamer has confirmed that a total of 17 shows are either being canceled or wrapping up for good in 2026, including the royal-backed lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, and several other titles fans have grown attached to.

The Lincoln Lawyer Wraps After Five Seasons

Netflix confirmed on May 20 that The Lincoln Lawyer will end with its upcoming fifth season. The decision came as a surprise to many, especially since the show's viewership actually grew between its first and second seasons. According to Men's Journal, the legal drama has racked up 171 million views since it premiered in 2023 and spent 29 weeks on Netflix's Global Top 10 chart across its first four seasons.

Series developer Ted Humphrey and co-showrunner Dailyn Rodriguez addressed the ending in a joint statement, promising fans the kind of send-off that Mickey Haller deserves. They noted that giving the story a real conclusion was always part of the plan, even if the timing feels early to longtime viewers.

The numbers behind the show are pretty staggering, too. Netflix says the first four seasons contributed more than 425 million dollars to California's economy, employed over 4,300 cast and crew members, and filmed across more than 50 locations in Los Angeles. So while the cancellation stings, at least the finale season was planned rather than an abrupt cutoff.

With Love, Meghan Doesn't Get a Third Season

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle series With Love, Meghan is also calling it quits after two seasons. The show blended cooking, gardening, and home tips with casual conversations between Meghan and her famous friends. Season two dropped late last year, and despite the royal star power attached to the project, it wasn't enough to earn a renewal.

The Full List of 2026 Cancellations

Netflix's 2026 cleanup has been a bit of a quiet rollout, with titles getting axed in batches rather than one big announcement.

Canceled after one or more seasons:

  • The Abandons
  • Terminator Zero
  • The Vince Staples Show
  • Pop The Balloon LIVE
  • Selling the City
  • Alice in Borderland
  • Class
  • Miss Governor
  • Strip Law
  • What's in the Box?
  • F1: The Academy
  • With Love, Meghan

Wrapping up with a planned final season:

  • The Lincoln Lawyer
  • The Night Agent
  • Alpha Males
  • Breathless
  • Survival of the Thickest

One of the more bittersweet goodbyes came from Strip Law creator Cullen Crawford, who shared the news on Bluesky himself. He said the show was made by talented people chasing nothing but pure, chaotic, delirious joy, and thanked everyone who gave it a chance. The series featured a stacked voice cast including Adam Scott, Janelle James, Stephen Root, and Keith David, with guest spots from names like Weird Al Yankovic, Patton Oswalt, and LeVar Burton.

What's Next for Netflix

Netflix isn't slowing down on new content, even as it trims the old. Among the replacements heading to the platform are Dan Levy's comedy Big Mistakes and I Will Find You, a new mystery series from author Harlan Coben starring Sam Worthington, Britt Lower, and Milo Ventimiglia.

With Netflix producing well over 700 original titles a year, not every show is going to stick around, but losing a long-running hit like The Lincoln Lawyer alongside 16 other titles in the same stretch is a reminder that even strong viewership numbers don't always guarantee a renewal.
