Is Demon Slayer on Netflix?

Yes, Demon Slayer is on Netflix. However, not in all countries; this is why you can't find it on Netflix despite Google telling you that it is on there.

Why is Demon Slayer not on Netflix in my country?

Before Netflix can offer Demon Slayer, it needs to buy the streaming license from the rightful content owners of the anime beforehand. Netflix buys the streaming licenses for each region separately based on some criteria like the target audience's needs and the competition Netflix has with other streaming services over streaming Demon Slayer

Streaming licenses are quite expensive; for example, in 2019 only, Netflix spent an estimated $14.7 billion on licensed content. So, to compensate for what it pays, Netflix needs to make sure that its revenue is greater than the losses. To ensure this, Netflix uses data mining to survey the audience's interest to determine what shows should be bought for each region.

As for Demon Slayer, Netflix only has streaming rights in 7 countries, including the US and the UK

PS: Due to copyrights and licensing agreements, Netflix may change the region of any movie or show at any time.

How to Watch Demon Slayer on Netflix from Anywhere

Is Demon Slayer on Netflix? Yes. Is it available everywhere? Not exactly, but with a few steps, it will be.

All you need to do to watch it from anywhere is hide your IP address and replace it with another "fake" one. To do so, you need to use a virtual private network (VPN).

With a VPN, you can mask and spoof your IP address to one in a place that has Demon Slayer on Netflix.

Once you have chosen a VPN, follow these steps to watch Demon Slayer on Netflix:

2. Download and install the VPN app on your device.
3. Run the app and sign in. You might receive a confirmation email; follow the instructions to verify your email address.
4. Launch the VPN app > select a server that has Demon Slayer.
5. Log into your Netflix account, and enjoy watching Demon Slayer

Can I Use a free VPN?

Netflix bans users from using VPNs due to copyrights agreements with content owners. So, if you use a free VPN, you might not benefit at all, as free VPNs are easy to detect by Netflix's system. If or once the system detects that you're using a VPN, you will receive the Streaming Error message on your screen and will be blocked from streaming temporarily.

So, we have prepared a list of reliable paid VPN services that can bypass the Netflix block on VPNs. With any of these VPNs, you will be able to watch Demon Slayer with no interruption.
