Make the Most of Black Friday’s Biggest Game Deals
Updated On: November 19, 2025

Black Friday is back, and game stores are already teasing what’s coming. Steam isn’t doing a full Black Friday sale of their own this year, same as usual, but they are putting big publisher deals front and center. Gameloft, Ubisoft, and Capcom are most notable, with Capcom dropping prices by up to 87% and Ubisoft offering select games at up to 90% off.

This also lines up with Cozy Quest, an event hosted by Secret Mode on Steam that focuses on cozy, feel-good games. Steam will feature these discounts alongside the Black Friday traffic, highlighting different parts of the cozy genre, including simulation games, puzzle titles, and other relaxing picks. Indie and mid-size studios are also part of the lineup, giving smaller projects a well-deserved moment in the spotlight. A few well-loved individual games are already discounted too, including Escape from Tarkov and Claire Obscure.

Epic Games Store is gearing up for its Black Friday deals as well. Last year left a bad taste for many players, since most of the big discounts only applied to deluxe editions instead of the standard ones. The deals weren’t bad, but a lot of people were disappointed. With any luck, Epic won’t go down that road again this year.

Meanwhile, several publishers are planning their own discounts outside the main storefronts. Blizzard is expected to join in with sales on Battle.net, and there’s also a chance of something happening on Riot’s League of Legends client. Deep discounts in LoL aren’t very likely, but it’s still worth keeping an eye out for limited-time skin deals, RP sales, and the return of the Blue Essence Emporium on November 19.

As the week goes on, more details will drop, and the full picture of this year’s Black Friday gaming deals will become clearer. For now, the mix of publisher-led promotions, platform highlights, and special themed events means there’s going to be plenty to look at, no matter where you prefer to shop.
