AV-Comparatives scores

Bitdefender antivirus' Real-World Protection Test result was a 3/3 stars (Advanced +) real-world protection score - AV-Comparatives conducted a test with 758 domains/files, this score checks the rate of detection of malicious files and domains.
Bitdefender antivirus had 4 false positives (False alarms) - The average number of false positives in the industry is 17. Bitdefender also successfully blocked 99.6% of threats.
On the malware protection test, Bitdefender antivirus had a 3/3 (Advanced +) score regarding malware detection - AV-Comparatives tested 10102 cases, and Bitdefender had a 99.99% detection and block score, with only six false positives.
On the malware removal test, Bitdefender antivirus had a 3/3 (Advanced +) score regarding malware removal - This AV-Comparatives test checks the ability of Bitdefender antivirus to remove viruses or malware that have already infected a PC; out of 11 test cases, Bitdefender antivirus scored a 94 out of 100 (with the baseline being 83).
Bitdefender antivirus scored 3/3 stars (Advanced+) in the impact on device performance - This means that Bitdefender will not take up your device's resources.

Firewall and IDS protection

One of the best features Bitdefender offers is the Bitdefender Firewall; this firewall will protect your PC by blocking any unauthorized connections (inbound and outbound). Bitdefender's firewall also has a "Stealth Mode" that can make your PC invisible.

USB rescue toolkit

In the "Antivirus" pane > click Open.

A confirmation window will appear; click Restart.
The computer will reboot in Bitdefender Rescue Environment and the scanning process will begin directly. Wait for it to finish and if any threats are detected follow the on-screen instructions to remove it.
To exist Rescue Environment/Mode > click the Close button (from the scan window with the scan results). The computer will restart and boot up Windows.

Another way to exit is to stop the scan at any point. If you cancel the scan, the PC will restart and boot up Windows.

However, if your PC won't even start up, you will then need to download a USB/CD rescue toolkit. This is how you can download it:

Download and launch the Universal USB Installer.
Select the “Bitdefender Rescue CD” option > follow the on-screen instructions.
Once the script has finished installing > restart your PC and set your "BIOS or Boot Menu" to boot from the USB device.
Save your changes and reboot your PC.
