Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025: Who's In?

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2025, celebrating a diverse group of artists who have significantly influenced the music landscape. The induction ceremony is scheduled for November 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be streamed live on Disney+, with subsequent broadcasts on ABC and Hulu.
This year's inductees in the Performer category include:
- Bad Company: The British rock band, known for hits like "Feel Like Makin' Love" and "Can't Get Enough," receives its first nomination and induction, acknowledging their impact on classic rock
- Chubby Checker: After decades of eligibility, the dance icon famous for "The Twist" is finally recognized, highlighting his role in shaping early rock and roll dance culture
- Joe Cocker: The late British singer, celebrated for his soulful voice and memorable performances, including his rendition of "With a Little Help from My Friends," is honored posthumously
- Cyndi Lauper: The vibrant '80s pop star, known for "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and "Time After Time," is acknowledged for her unique style and contributions to pop music
- OutKast: The Atlanta-based hip-hop duo, comprising André 3000 and Big Boi, is inducted for their innovative approach to hip-hop, blending genres and pushing musical boundaries
- Soundgarden: Pioneers of the grunge movement, the Seattle band led by Chris Cornell is recognized for their influential role in '90s alternative rock
- The White Stripes: The garage rock duo from Detroit, consisting of Jack and Meg White, is honored for their raw sound and significant impact on early 2000s rock
Additional honorees include Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon, who will receive the Musical Influence Award for their substantial contributions to music, influencing generations of artists. The Musical Excellence Award will be presented to Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye for their exceptional musicianship and behind-the-scenes work that shaped numerous hits. Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for his significant impact on the music industry as a non-performing professional.
