Netflix's Assassin’s Creed Set Revealed In Leaked Video

The leaked video offered the first look at one of its sets. It appears the footage was filmed unintentionally, with the person behind the camera accidentally revealing the franchise's iconic Assassin logo on one of the props.

While many details remain under wraps, we know that the series will tell an original story. According to Netflix, the show centers on the long-running conflict between two secret organizations. One seeks to shape humanity's future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to protect free will. As with the games, the story follows significant moments in history as both factions compete to influence the course of civilization.

Although Netflix has not released any official footage, the leaked video, which was published by a user on X, appears to show portions of the Roman set. The clip features damaged stone structures, towering Roman columns, and what appears to be a throne carved with the iconic Assassin insignia. While the authenticity of the footage has not been formally addressed by Netflix, the set matches the newly confirmed Roman setting and suggests large-scale practical production.

Netflix has assembled a large cast for the adaptation, which includes: Lola Petticrew, Toby Wallace, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, Tanzyn Crawford, Nabhaan Rizwan, and Claes Bang, among many others. Netflix has not revealed which historical or original characters they will portray.

Ubisoft Film and Television is heavily involved in the production, with executive producers Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones, and Matt O'Toole helping oversee the project.

This might seem exciting at first, but it's important to keep expectations in check. A collaboration between Ubisoft and Netflix centered on a franchise that peaked in popularity during the early 2010s before crashing due to questionable plot choices could easily fall short of expectations.
