iCloud+ Now Includes Apple TV & Apple Arcade for Free
Apple TV and Apple Arcade are now included with every paid iCloud+ plan in more than 100 countries and regions at no extra cost. The rollout covers all paid tiers, including the entry-level 50GB plan.
Subscribers will get full access to Apple TV's original shows and movies as well as Apple Arcade's library of more than 200 games. Through Family Sharing, those benefits can also extend to as many as five additional family members.
“We’re excited to bring Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one convenient subscription,” Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, said in the announcement.
The expansion covers India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and dozens of countries across Africa, Eastern Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and the Pacific. Apple TV is also arriving in 59 new countries, expanding the streaming service's reach to 170 countries worldwide.
But the offer skips some of Apple's largest markets. The United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are not included, nor is much of Western and Northern Europe. Customers in those regions will continue paying for iCloud+, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade separately unless they subscribe to Apple One.
Apple is also changing how its services are sold in countries receiving the new iCloud+ package. Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be offered as standalone subscriptions directly from Apple in participating markets.
Apple One is being phased out for new subscribers in the same markets, while existing members can keep their current subscriptions. That detail makes the rollout particularly interesting. Apple is not simply adding extra benefits to iCloud+ while leaving its other bundles untouched. It is replacing Apple One as the primary package for many customers.
Apple Music Select is included too, offering a collection of ad-free, Apple-curated radio stations. It stops short of the complete Apple Music experience, so on-demand access to the full catalog still requires a separate subscription. Apple is offering discounted upgrades to full Apple Music plans in participating markets, with prices varying by country.
