Diablo 4 Devs to Join Discord Call for Direct Player Feedback

Published On: August 14, 2025
Blizzard is switching up how it talks to Diablo 4 players. Instead of the usual pre-season Campfire Chat livestreams, the developers will host a new Sanctuary Sitdown on August 14 at 11 a.m. PT in the official Diablo 4 Sanctuary Discord.
Aislyn Hall, Charles Dunn, and Ben Fletcher will join host Cliptis to answer fan questions and discuss the upcoming 2.4.0 Public Test Realm (PTR) and Season 10: Infernal Chaos. This marks a shift from Twitch-based streams to a more direct, real-time community conversation.
Infernal Chaos is set to launch September 23, placing it in the middle of one of the busiest release windows in years. Big titles like Borderlands 4 (September 12), Dying Light: The Beast (September 19), and Silent Hill f (September 25) will compete for attention. Direct rivals in the ARPG space, including Titan Quest 2 and the anticipated Path of Exile 2, add more pressure.
Season 10 promises new seasonal powers, quests, and a reworked endgame mode, Infernal Hordes, that could help Diablo 4 keep its player base engaged. Given the muted reception to recent seasons, Blizzard will be looking to the PTR feedback and Sit-down conversation to fine-tune the update before launch.
I think this is a solid way to gather direct feedback from the player base, but it could get a little chaotic. Many players are unhappy with the current state of the game and will likely take the opportunity to voice their concerns. Hopefully, these efforts will lead to meaningful improvements in both gameplay and story.
